The Better Government Association's "Integrity Index" ranks Pennsylvania's Open Records law ahead of only Alabama and South Dakota. We get only half of one point out of a possible 16.
But even our existing weak law is too much for Pennsylvania lawmakers who are the only lawmakers in America to exempt themselves from the Open Records law. We also are the only state whose court system has exempted itself from the Open Records law.

Require the General Assembly and each of its members to comply fully with existing law to the same degree and in the same detail as required of executive agencies.
Require the judicial branch to comply with the Open Records law.
Assign a legislative body the immediate task of re-writing existing law to give Pennsylvania the highest standards of integrity and openness in America for public access to government documents.
